Hey guys i'm hoping you can help i have not ridden the bike in a couple of days as its been raining when i last rode the bike it was in the rain and i noticed today that they choke lever is hard to move however earlier in the week it was fine. I sprayed some WD40 on the lever hoping this would losen it up but it hasnt. What else can i try? Thanks
Did you WD40 the lever or the cable? Chances are 99% that it's the cable, although I think at one point I remember mine feeling too tight and it was because I had the brake lever pressed up against it too hard. Either way I'd remove the cable from both ends, double check to make sure the lever and plunger end on the carb move smoothly without the cable attached. If those are working well I'd slowly drip some good weather resistant lubricant down into the cable housing until it runs out of the othe rend and slide the cable back and forth for a minute to make sure everything inside is coated well. I usually use stuff made for bicycle cables, you can get a bottle of it for $5 or so and it'll probably hold up to the rain a little better, although at some point you might be due to just replace the cable.

Yeah sorry im an idiot i ment choke lever but if i changed that in the other post i could not change the title so yeah ignore that one sorry.
How do i remove the choke cable to lubricate it from the choke lever end?
You can edit a post and edit the title.
Take apart the left controls - the switches part, not the clutch lever part. Couple screws on the under side of them.
Be sure the clutch lever bracket is not pressing on the choke. Leave 1/4" space or so between them.

Ok so i removed the 2 screws the assembly came off and i sprayed some lubricant in there, its better than it was but its still a bit stiff, the thing i noticed though is that it was easy to move while the assembly was not completly on but when i put it all back together it was harder to move again.
Any other idea's?
On the bottom there is a little cap. In it is a spring (middle picture). That presses on a friction thingy that keeps the choke lever in place.
Clean the surface of that plastic pressure point (pointed to by screw driver) and clean off the choke lever part it presses against.
No need to remove the spring and cap that holds it in place. Just showing it so you know what's there.
After cleaning it, you can grease it. Probably got some grid on the surfaces from the rain.
