Title: fun contest - guess the word filter!
Post by: john on January 25, 2012, 09:22:24 PM
I created a word filter for a normally used word.  Can you guess what the word is?  Winner gets a custom title.

Hint:  it is motorcycle related

Try as I might...I can't figure out what it is. I really wanted that custom title too..

Another hint.  It is found on a motorcycle.

Well, we used to refer to the air box drain as a   p e n i s   thing so now it comes out as
pee pee thing

Checked past posts - yep - it has been filtered now. I search for "p e n i s" and it shows up as "pee pee" in all postings.

I WIN!  :woohoo:

What is my custom name?

I thought custom titles were, um, not a good thing here???

pen.is is not a proper name for any motorcycle part.  This is a proper name.  A couple more word filters were added for bad words.  This is something fun.  If you really think you won I could probably add a custom title for you with the word pee pee in it.

Sometimes they are.  Especially when the winner can pick their own.

Yeah, another vote for Fuel Chicken

OK so it's such an obvious thing, yet nobody has guessed it yet.  Wow.  I will take the suggestions under advisement  :icon_lol:

kickstand was supposed to be the word.  Somehow it got saved as kickst.art.  Weird.  Seeing the guesser already has a smashing custom title. Adidasguy will get one instead.  I hope he likes it  :dunno_black:

I DID try kickstand.
I went through the parts book and tried every part on a GS500.

OK - kind of kinky. (http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb442/adidasguy/Videos/spoton.gif) Glad it doesn't have pee pee!

On a different note... I tried typing the sentence "unbolt_the_old_one_and_bolt_the_new_one_in" and it replaces it with this... " unbolt the old one and You win! the new one in" wtf?  :technical:

Apparantely I won?  :technical:

Well...I didn't read closely enough to the other posts.  I find that word filter somewhat distracting...

I second that. Now that I know about this, posts make sense again, but I feel bad for new people or those that haven't figured it out yet.

Luke jay walker aka fishhead, the point of a filter is to replace the unwanted word. Sh.it becomes shaZam!. If you can see the word exhaust it has not been filtered.

It has been fixed.  Forgot to remove the filter.
