It seems i can't find a workshop manual (Haynes/Clymer) for my '11 GS500F? Am i able to get the manual for the '09 and it will still be applicable?
Is it just me...or does the '11 GS not exist?

Not in US but it does in AU.
Ahh. That explains that.
I Think that could be why i can't get ahold of a workshop manual then! I'll quiz the dealership and see what they have to say.
Manual for an 09 will be fine. Nothing would have changed apart from the paint scheme.
That's what i though, just wanted to double check though. Thank's mad dog!
Glad I could help.
I use an old 89 - 94 Clymer Manual and ~92 Suzuki Service Manual for my bike (09) and 90% of the info applies.
2004+ are all exactly the same. 1989+ are mostly the same.
Yep all the same the 09 and 11.
check your vin plate it will have the year of manufacture on it and tell us what it is as there were not meant to be any GS500 manufactured after 2009.my gs was was sold to me as a 2009 model yet it was manufactured in 2007.
I Havn't actually picked up the bike as of yet but i have test rode it, i checked out the VIN Plate and date of manufacture was 1/11.
Same as the 09 GS500F which was the last model year sold in the US, here is the same bike still available on Suzuki Canada site:
http://moto.suzuki.ca/product%20lines/cycles/products/gs500f/2009/gs500f.aspx?category=sportbike&sc_lang=en-CA
Also the 2010 GS500F also available at Suzuki CA which has same colors reversed :
http://moto.suzuki.ca/product%20lines/cycles/products/gs500f/2010/gs500f.aspx?category=sportbike&sc_lang=en-CA
Suzuki Australia shows a 2011 GS500F that looks the same as the 2010 sold in Canada:

Doubt there is any significant difference in the 09-00-11 models besides the paint, I wouldn't hesitate to use a 09 service manual for any of them.
That's what i've done, ordered the haynes manual which covers up to '09. Just for the record why have they stopped selling in US?

Bad sales all around on bikes here for past few years and they have just finished selling off all the leftover 07-08-09 GS500F bikes at big discounts. Doubt they'll import them here again, it's mostly the sportbikes and big cruisers that sell well here.
