Hi
So, in my restoring of my 01 GS, I lost the orange plastic cover for the turn signal indicator lights. This is the small (about 1/2" diameter) orange plastic part that goes on the speedometer/tachometer bracket. This area also has the hi-beam, neutral, and oil instrument lights.
Hopefuly someone has one I can buy from, or direct me to where I could get one? (I've only been able to find the whole bracket, and it is pretty expensive....)
Thanks
If all else fails, you can machine it out of plastic orange (or whichever colour you need) screwdriver handle (the cheaper the better).
The one of clear (see-thru) types, off course.

great idea! That's what I'll do if I can't find the part. Thanks a lot.
Amber was not used for very many years. Most GS500's have green for the turn signal.
Are you sure you had amber?
Green is easy to get (I have a pile of them). Amber is hard to find due to it being used only for a few years.
On the rare occasion I do find an amber one, I put it in my bikes because I like it over the green that was used most years.
You probably had green.
If you can't find amber, go green or put in red with an amber LED.
You are absolutely right. It wasn't amber. It is the blue cover for the hi-beam. What can I do to get one from you, even if it is green?
Thanks
Everyone needs a blue cap. I do not have any extras.
I can mail you a green one. With a blue LED, it will look OK.
Each cap has 2 "nicks" that key it to each indicator position. You'll need to clip one off to fit it in the hole. If you look at the hole, you'll see 2 little notches. You'll see it when you look at it and the green cap.
PM me your address and I can drop one in the mail. Got a lot of green caps.
