Just curious if anyone has tried it. The previous owner dropped it and there is a decent sized dent in the tank. I am decent at body work so im not scared to try but if someone had done it already the advice is always appreciated.
I would advise to fill the dent with fiber glass first then smooth over with bond. If you put to much bond in the dent it will crack, if safer to use fiberglass to fill. Then your favorite color.

Depends how in depth you want to go but I have used a stud welder to pull dents and then a skim coat of bondo to smooth out the lines.

More labor intensive than with the picks or suction cup. As long as the dent is not on a corner, I'd try those first.
