Was at cyclegear today. I scored a pair of Hurricane H20 boots for $79! They are nice and comfy. Feel like they have good support, good shin protection, and water proof! :D
From the front

Outside side. Has an ankle protector and is pretty sturdy

Inside. Looks like the velcro zipper thingy might come apart cause it sticks to it. But closes up well.

And the back I took with flash so you can see the luminescent spot on the back

This is what they replaced! They did their job.

I'll do a more detailed write up in a couple of months. Esp. the water resistant properties!

I looove cyclegear. I bring home a new jacket from their clearance rack every time I go haha. Not like Frank Thomas is anything special, but you can't beat a $150-250 jacket for $30. Also got some nice riding pants for $30. They have two of those Red Route Cargo Hoody jackets on clearance for $20 and I want one really bad but they're both too big for me.
Anyway, boots! I have a pair of their rain boots, simple ones that look like these... http://www.cyclegear.com/eng/product/typhoon_waterproof_leather_motorcycle_boots/web1008410
I got them for $30-40 because my normal boots are awful to walk in. I wear these if I'm gonna be doing any riding where I know I'm gonna be walking as they're as comfortable as wearing tennis shoes. Great buy for what they are. I don't suspect that'll last through too much abuse, but oh well.
Those actually look quite nice for a motorcycle boot. Not into the " I just raced at Laguna Seca" looking boots.
