don't think i'd feel to good about plunking down the kind of coin i'm looking at for something on ebay, that might not even be authentic.  plus, i checked and the model i'm looking for wasn't listed.  i think i found a decent website to buy from though.  thanks...

Costco has some good deals on some pricey watches - they sell the same watches that you would buy at a jewlery store, but the selection is limited compared to what you would find at a nice shop.  I know they carry Tag, and I was close to buying a Movado from there a few months back.
An online shop may have a better deal, but I don't have much experience buying jewlery on the internet... try www.overstock.com to see what they have on closeout.

i've check out the tag stuff at some local stores.  pricey.  i would never pay that much for a watch for myself.  i'd feel too guilty/stupid.  but for a gift it's easier.

yeah, i checked costco and sams club already.  unfortunately, neither of them had the particular watch i was looking for.  neither does overstock (i buy stuff there all the time, i'm not sure why it turned all feminine lately though)

thanks,
