If anyone has a real Vance and Hines ignition advancer that will fit on a 01 gs500 i would really like to buy it. If anyone has one to part with please let me know.
The cheaper solution is DIY advancer mod found on gs-wiki.
And it works too.

I'd suggest contacting Bob Broussard. He just modded my stock rotor and it is perfect. Only took a week round trip (MD to CA and back), and cheap too!
If you got a dremel and 10 minutes of time, go for it.
The worst that can happen is you advance it too far, it runs funny, and you slowly rotate it back a degree at a time till it feels perfect.
Or pre-detonation. If you hear a marble-being-thrown-at-steel like sound, retard the timing a bit...
If anyone has a Vance and Hines ignition advancer for my 2002 GS500E i would really like to buy it. Please let me know. Thank you!

did you jsut threadjack a year old topic? :cookoo:
Sorry! Brand new to the forum and thought it was the way to go!
Either way, the information above is valid. I went on a hunt for a V&H advancer, and the search was futile. However doing the mod on the site was incredibly easy.
