Title: Longer naked headlight bracket
Post by: Zwerski on February 21, 2012, 07:34:39 PM
Hey there-

I'm looking to start a project that involves moving the headlight on my 97 500E out an inch or so from its current position under the gauge cluster. I have seen some F to E conversions that have a different bracket than the one on mine, which I am assuming is stock, an theirs sometimes have the headlight setting out further than mine looks. I'd like to source a stock-looking part for this, rather than fabricating an extender.

Anyone have a part number or year range for this?

I dont believe a longer bracket exists, you can however hack up a sheet of aluminum to your taste, I am doing it for my mz, and I will be following that up with one fr the kat FE'ed GS.
Cool.
