I have searched, and I found a lot of threads, but I am still not sure........
My levers are clobbered and I want new black ones.
I don't care about the lever adjustment feature.
I see a lot of black brake levers that list only for 1989. Will these fit on my 1994?
Thanks,
Step

Wow.
Thanks guys.
Adidas guy - you rock! Top shelf video for sure.
BTW - i can see the answer is yes, 1989 levers will fit!
Adidasguy, your videos kick major rear. Goodjob!
From personal experience, the levers, and master cylinder, from a Hayabusa work, as well. Mine was from an 00-02. So, if you find a nice lever for a Hayabusa, it'll work.
Difference in master cylinders is 3/8 bore on the gs and 1/2 inch bore on the busa. Better lever feel, better brake feel. With stock suspension, you'll be bottoming out a hell of a lot.
Don't forget the details of the clutch lever...

You sir, deserve a beer when you come down here.
I am liking the black. Cleaned it up nice.
NOS '89 brake lever. Position is to the outside, but not too far.
Old lever - Hahahaa.

I would've broke that sneaky clutch switch for sure, if you had not warned me!
