Title: Video of my current state and Cobra F1s slip-on sound.
Post by: Tombstones81 on February 23, 2012, 09:17:47 AM
Gorgeous morning after work.
Was able to finally get a video made now that I bought a digital camera with a large storage card.

First video I ever made, so if its not perfect... deal with it as I said in the video. hahaha  :flipoff:

I'll get another one of it being ridden when I get it finished.
Currently leaking too much oil, new gaskets are comin.

Bike started at the 2.50 mark.

It sounds kinda like my 883 muffler before the debaffle, only more high pitched!

+1 on old school goodness.

And painting your tires. Gangsta.

hahahaha only the rear tire was painted because it was bald when I started the work.
so it was pointless to tape it off.
I have a new one to match the front being delivered as of yesterday.

Yeah I think the guy who inspected it said the baffles were taken out.
I forget and whatever that is exactly, Im not Too fluent in exhausts yet.

Lol, well, this is the 883 without the baffles.

BTW, the baffles are inside the muffler, and are basically cavities in which the exhaust gas has to flow.

Still surprised at how well the bondo job came out on the Huge dent in the right side of the tank.
cant even notice it now unless you go up pretty close and know what to look for.

pic of how bad the dent was when I got the bike.
I got it out a Little bit, maybe 15% of the front side of the dent using a hot glue stick and yankin on it.
