Hey Everyone,
I haven't been around in a while. Grad school will do that to ya... :)
Anyway, On my way to work a few weeks ago I managed (with the "help" of a small blue sedan) to lay my bike down on the freeway.
Luckily it was relatively slow rush hour traffic. I was helmeted, gloved and long jacket and jeans, so I was only a bit scratched up.
I even sort of saved the bike, but alas the right side signal generator cover was... um... destroyed.
Oh, it is a 1999 Gs500E.
Anyone have one of these they don't need? I'm not picky, it doesn't need the decal, I just feel weird about leaving it uncovered when I'm riding. Flashes of shoestrings getting in there, etc.
Thanks for your guys help!
I make these out of thick aluminum. $40 shipped will get you one, and I have 1 left ... need to make more I think.
Cool.
Buddha.
Awesome Buddha, I knew you guys would be on it! I'll PM you!
We can delete this post then, that was fast!
Thanks everyone!
