Title: Valve bucket Stuck.
Post by: J_Walker on February 28, 2012, 02:35:54 PM
I was putting in my valves to test if they we're lapped right.. and ofc one was still leaking. I was messing around with the buckets, Put some oil on one and pushed in in there.. It kinda got stuck when I tried that. So I slapped it down with a piece of wood and it quickly slid down into place. I was like. alright, Bad angle. Now It won't even move... -_- I need to take that out. It's like the buckets got to big over night.. Any help on removing this SOB?

Hit it with a heat gun for 5 minutes or stick the entire head in the oven. What tool are you removing it with? A strong magnet is very helpful.

I'm not allowed to use the oven, would a grill work? its a decent one. Can stick it away from the heat? If so how hot should I get it? 200? 300? 400?
