Will the bars touch the newer bigger tank?
Looking at doing a 2008 tank, Ducati monster seat, and frame to replace the rear of bike, I'm going to try and just use the frame where the seat sits so i can also use some of the monster plastics that are under the seat to give it a more production look instead of leaving in open or just putting a piece of sheet metal under the seat. I'm also going to be making or possibly buying a rear hugger for it when the time comes.
I swapped my 91 tank for a newer version, fits perfectly.
Click the link in my signature if you want to see the new tank on the old frame. Also had some clipons, but not the ones from the factory.

yeah I was slightly confused too, but I came in after both had been up so I didn't have any specific attachments to the other one haha
I wanted to be more of a gas tank thread, but o well.
I have a 2007 tank on a 1990 frame with Suburban Machinery SM2 bars, which is pretty close to the setup for clip ons, and my bars don't touch.
