hooray for me! i easily passed my permit test on thursday. as soon as i got home i enrolled for the msf course.
just wanted to express my excitment somewhere.
Good deal!! Smart way to start.
I took that class 10 years ago, I've been wanting to take it again though.
do it bud! go to the ccac south campus on the 20th! im registered as first alternate.
EDIT: be there around 5:30 or earlier and we get first dibs on empty seats.
Before you take the course, study the book. It is on their site.
Then, check your local driving laws. In Washington, a learners permit for a motorcycle allows you to ride alone on the street from sun-up to sun-down. Cool! I've heard some states require an observer on another bike or car. If your state allows it, practice riding around your neighborhood. and go practice at the MSF course when they're not using it.
Here, at South Seattle Community College, they have a double track. They cone it off Friday through Sunday so you can practice when they aren't using it or if they are using just one course, you can use the other one (if you ask).
Congrats and goodluck with the course
yes, i believe local law requires me to ride between sun up to sun down with a helmet and no passengers. because i am already a licensed cager i do not require another rider with me. however i still need a bike :embarassed:
i am making my way through the book. and then ill take the quiz online too. also watching the videos
