I need to decide what vehicle(s) to take to Sale
My question is regarding weather.
I note that it is much cooler in Melbourne than Sydney.
It apparently rains an average of 74 days a year in sale.
I have a car and my GS
I won't have an excessive amount of leisure time but there certainly will be some.
Do I
Store the bike til I get posted after 12 months
Sell the car and rely on other people for transport when I don't want to or can't ride.
Take both
Sell the bike and buy a newer one in 12 months when Ive got plenty of cash rollin in
Help me
Note: Melbourne is Not Sale.
Things to watch out for around Sale...
Wombats
I don't understand Why you are asking. Take both, ride when you can, drive the other times.
Buy some cold weather riding gear. Sale gets VERY cold.
Take a fishing rod and visit Lakes Entrance to catch a feed. Make sure you take time out at the 90 mile beach. Buy some cold weather riding gear - did I mention it gets cold in Sale. Don't dis the oil rigs. Be on the lookout for divorced women who couldn't handle their husband's being on the oil rigs. Prey you get a place with heated flooring - cause it gets cold in Sale (did I mention that?).
Oh, the question.... take both, use them as warranted. :thumb:
Michael
Well at some point in the future we may encounter each other in the workplace (I am not a JBAC though)
And +1 to what mister said
Quotetake both, use them as warranted.
Fair enough. I do love having both.
Are you at sale spectre?
no, but I currently work in 44WG
If any of you get posted to Amberley we will have to catch up for a ride.
:icon_lol: Yes watch out for wombats they drive falcons and commodores with Highway Patrol on the sides.... :icon_lol:

i thought that was just mister with his collection of old copcars.
When I mention Wombats I mean the actual animal. Those suckers can almost rip out your diff. I've seen plenty of dead ones on the side of the road on my many trips to Sale over the years.
Will do
I've seen my fair share of wombats and Roos out here so I'll know to look them.
