That's freakin' awesome. Who says you need 4' tall tires and a million liter diesel to go offroading?
Sammies are amazing offroad suvs, in bone stock form they can climb mountains, My grandfather had one and I used to drive the damn thing all the time out in AZ, was like driving a bulldozer trying to stop it...
We had an old Samurai to feed the horses with what a blast!

Did the horsies try to bite the vehicle ...
Apparently horsies get used to getting their food from trucks and trailers these days, and since they see the insides filled wiht food, they think the truck is edible too and try to bite it.
Cool.

i had worked for a guy near my home feeding his horses. and used a few vehicles for feeding. a 69 f100, an a 50's era chevrolet apache. and a chev full size cargo van. damn things tried to bite the van often. cause they knew that food was inside of it or food came out of it.

They get called Sierras here. Weird how the same car is called a different name in a different country
my uncle, who lived in greenland for a while, told me that everyone there drove them because the roads would wash out all the time. They would tie them all together to make water crossings because Samurai's could float for a a little while and they could just pull it back out of the river when it got to deep.
Had an old Sidekick two door years ago!!! It was a beast! O0
Always wanted a Samurai

NO, damned horse kicked me though! Within 30 seconds my right elbow was black and blue and swelling. My foster parents were out of town. Person watching us didn't have guardianship ER wouldn't touch me (not life threatening). Next morning was last day of school and if I didn't go I would automatically fail. So, I went in with my arm black and blue from the top of my elbow to my wrist. I went to my ROTC classroom grabbed the first aid kit and got the sling out of it. Went to the nurses office. Told her what happened she felt so bad for me that she wrote my finals down for me (I'm right handed and writing is barely eligible with that hand. My English teacher didn't want to let her do it and so I went back and told her. She told me to go to lunch that she would have a discussion with the teacher. As I was walking down the hall I could hear her chewing that witch out!
Foster parents got home that night and took me back to the ER. I ended up having a bone bruise OMG did it hurt!

A samurai in the US got a bad rap for rolling over and hence was really cheap in the 90's.
Cool.
Buddha.
US Top Gear just did a "most dangerous" cars episode and Tanner Foust drove the Samurai. Of course he rolled it over.
Saw that episode this past weekend. I'd never heard of them rolling over before that. My buddy has one on their deer lease and they drive the hell out of that thing. They actively try to roll it and it still keeps going.
They are like a little tonka truck, i have seen them with 46 inch Super Swampers on them. go through about anything tho.
In the US, the Suzuki Sidekick got the nickname Sideflip  I know the Toyota Tacoma is called a Hilux outside the US.
