Title: Bikemaster GP Touring bars
Post by: bombsquad83 on March 16, 2012, 09:06:22 AM
Does anyone else have these?  I replaced my bent bars with this, and I noticed the angle on the pullback is more severe.  The GP Touring bars are E in this illustration on Bikemaster's site:

It puts my wrists at a somewhat awkward angle.  What kind of angle are these intended to be installed in the clips (up and down)?  Anyone have pictures of these bars on their bike or feedback on riding position with these?

EDIT: I bought these bars because I wanted a more upright riding position and they have a greater pullback.  Being noobish I didn't realize the angle issue.  I'm a relatively tall guy and I prefer an upright riding position.  Should I have gone with a different set of bars?  Daytona or European or Superbike?

I'd like some info on these bars, too.

I have superbike bars on mine.  Slightly lower than stock.  It's a pretty upright position.

Revisiting this.  I didn't like the GP bars at first, but I readjusted them yesterday and I really like them now.  They let you sit more upright, but your hands are down low and relaxed.  Here are some pics of how they are now.  I had them rotated too high at first.

I really want to rotate my superbike bars, but I can't get the damn hex heads undone.
