Title: Getting Flagged for Malware
Post by: cole on March 17, 2012, 05:45:19 PM
Either Avast or Chrome is flagging some threads that there is malware: membres.lycos.fr(ads?), should I be concerned?

It might be you were infected with a trojan from somewhere else.
Or Chrome advertising is linking into things.
There is no advertising here, so can't be from gsTwins. I get no indications of a problem.

Kijona was having similar issues not too long ago.

I don't know if it will be any help or not, but here you go:

Ya, I just got it too. First time I've seen it.

This was the thread that set it off for me. http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=18626.0 vendor and/or part number for electronic turn signal relay?

What was first listed as malware seems to be destro's avatar which is a JPG and could be infected or a false trigger
It is: http://membres.lycos.fr/arkadin/Cobra/GenAlbat/destro.jpg

Eset NOD32 does not flag it and neither does MS stuff. Forced a manual scan of the page and files.

If it is flagging it, what does it say it is?

says that the iage url is an attacking website, though lycos.fr is safe!
Can jpg-files attack browsers?
