Okay guys I own a gs500 ev 1996.
It's been running extremely lean lately (different end can)
So i bought some 127.5 jets. Originals seem to be 122.5 or something.
The bike refuses to run properly now. It might run for a few seconds if that...
So I'm thinking jets are far too small? I think they might be smaller than the standards....
What jets will I need and where can I buy them from (i live in the uk) cheers!!

125 I thought was the stock UK main jet. And with a slip on 125 and 40 - your original jets I believe in a UK bike, are right for stock bike with slip on pipe.
Anyway you may have a different issue as well, high floats, or fuel flow issues.

Hi well its just a r6 exhaust with no baffles on there...
Turns out these jets are a bit overkill :dunno_black: the head on them was smaller than the originals.... The bike would start, but would piss fuel everywhere and it came from the mouths of the carb (where it would attach to air box).
Guessing 127.5 is overkill? Noticed on the standard jets one was 122.5 and one was 125
Regardless standards are back in and I'm just going to raise the needles slightly. Should do the trick?
is raising the needles okay?
Raising the jet needles will richen the midrange and have little effect at max power.
Fuel flooding into the airbox is usually caused by a float sticking open. Check your float levels first.
