Just realized the PO boogered the seat support bracket. So I'm in the market for one!! Did noticed from the parts fiche that there's a lock seat set. Does that attach to the frame? There's no hole in my side cover for a lock???
In 89-00, the seat lock mounts to the side grab/luggage rails.
Give specific parts numbers or pictures and I probably have what you need.
