Title: Remove Stock 2006 Exhaust Baffle.
Post by: Dusty B1rd on March 27, 2012, 05:11:48 PM
New to the forum, and had a quick question.
I recently purchased my 06 GS for 2k with only 3k miles on it  :icon_razz: .
My buddy was talking about removing the stock baffle in the exhaust, as what his girl did on her older GS.
I have no idea how to go about this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

save your money. buy a slip on. to get your stock exhaust sounding half way decent you would have to cut it, gut it, make a perforated tube the full length of the muffler and pack it with muffler packing (fiberglass) it can be done, but is it worth it? Don't drill holes in it. It will sound like bad. look it up on youtube.
