Hey...
I got my bike stolen a while back, maybe u remember reading my posts... Well i found it, i also posted that (i was happy) but now im looking at the damage they did to my poor baby and i'm sad... First off, choke is stuck off, i dunno how they did that, but i cant move the choke at all. Also, anytime i got over 4000 RPM it just boggggss..... Stalls all the time... i bought new plugs, emptied gas tank and put new gas incase there's water in the tank (cuz they ripped open my gas tank cover and screwed out the keyhole so water might have gotten in) I leaked the carbs, but no sign of water.. any ideas? Maybe my choke's actually stuck on the whole way? I dunno... my poor bike's hurting
Another thing, how anybody know of a new ignition i can get? like used or something? Cuz they also screwed that up, ripped it out really. And it looks like they dropped the bike cuz my handlebar's bent plus my tank's all scratched (so is my exhaust) ... Well if anybody could help with any of my problems let me know... if u cant... well pray for her... thanks
Joey
i've seen all of the above on e-bay at one point or another, so check there. so how did you find your bike?
Glad you got your bike back! Fingerprints?
How about a brand new aftermarket ignition switch from EMGO (http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp;jsessionid=001JFK0X1FCNXLA0WTISM4VMDK0NCIV0?catId=412&leafCatId=41205&skuId=200731)?
Here is the image from the 2002 Dennis Kirk catalog:
Th catalog also lists a switch with part number 20-900 for $39.99 and another one with part number 20-0271 for $56.99.
EDIT: Changed link from sisna.com to bbburma.net
hey, ya, no finger prints, no nothign... and i called the cops lots, they just dont seem to care. I have the guys on the security camera, but i dont think the cops even looked at it yet... Good ol' Metro Toronto police...
I think i'll buy that igniti0on, thanks for the link, i was just wondering if anybody had used parts or something like that... thanks!

Thinking ahead about your keys....
I'm not sure if the EMGO switch uses keys that match Suzuki blanks. (They seem to sell different EMGO units for different makes though, so you might get lucky.) Anyway, if they do you might want to be able to use a single key for all three locks (ignition, fuel tank, seat) at some point.
To that end I did a search and found a couple of related threads for ya:
Any known problems w/AftMkt ignition/key (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2179)
Finally had a key made! (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3001)
Good Luck, and if you get the EMGO let us know if your original Suzuki key will fit into the slot.
i have a switch, but you would have to take it into a dealer and have a key puched for it . fact its still bolted to top clamps, you could have it rekeyed, then pop old one out and new one on inside 10 mins, but you would have to keep old key for tank cap and seatlock. PM me
