Title: Need a carb cleaning guide
Post by: holyfighter117 on March 29, 2012, 09:45:19 AM
i searched for a little while on here but couldnt find any one particular thread on how to clean the carbs. If anyone could direct me in the right direction that would be most helpful. Even if i had a link to a manual or something that would be awesome. (preferably something with a few pics :thumb: )

Try These Links.  Replace any worn-out seals or O-Rings.  Make sure the O-Rings are gasoline/alcohol/solvent resistant:

It'd be cool if someone made a complete video on carb removal, dis-assembly, cleaning, reassembly, and installation. But these guides are fine too :D

I need to work on my carb jets here in the next few months.  I have a camcorder and tripod...It would be for a 2009 model.  Yeah, it would be worth it.   :thumb:

+ 1 here as well.  I'm a complete newb when it comes to carbs and need to get more familiar with them.  Time to pick up a small engine repair guide I guess.
