saw this in the latest Cycle World.

personally, I'd like to ride it. looks comfortable and seems like a blast to ride. even if it is a scooter. :o
It really looks good from the rear. Is that a targeting HUD behind the windscreen? Oh, it's the LCD. How would that fair in a crash? It definitely has the top head-turn factor. And the size of the rims will allow for modern rubber! 900cc's! Trackball? I'd rather have a joystick for Chuck Yeager's Air Combat.
now slap that on a GS500....without the extra fairing on the sides....and we are in business....
I wonder how the steering works. Does it follow any sort of traditional motorcycle response? (press left, turn left) And no steering input from the feet. Mechanical or fly-by-wire steering? Is the thing ridable? :? Heh, I hope the thing is sporty and doesn't handle like a H-D
If it works, I'd love to go down the road looking all Kaneda-style 8)
Looks like a pimped-up Japanese Gurney Alligator. :?
Come on men! It's a scooter! Besides it looks like one of those Sharper Image motorcycles for kids. :nana: :nana: :nana:

I was waiting for the "Akira" reference! :thumb:
One day, scooters will rule the world!
if you think the G-Strider looks sissy-like, then check out the Honda Griffon.

it looks rather muscular. same recumbent style, but leaner-looking. and check out the front rotor.
QuoteSuzuki Electronically-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (SECVT)
fancy talk for "automatic transmission"... booooooo!!! :nono:

Saw this in the new Cycle World, it's interesting.
I'd rather have Kaneda's bike though :)
yesh, Da Gators Kin is what it is. i see these bikes about as function fulfilling as the cadillac escalade, you want a SUV? get a damn jeep.
Cut out the more fanciful elements and it's Yamaha's T-Max, the blurb for that is all scooter-bike fusion staff. At least the T-Max is real and on the road.
Hate to be the only dissenting voice, but if that Honda Griffon is in dealerships in 2005/6, I'll buy one.

On the Honda, where do you put your feet? Or, because it's so muscular and recumbent, do you ride it like a flattracker?

what's a flattracker? :dunno:
seriously though, it looks like you put your feet in that area where the VTEC insignia is.
these are better designed than the Gator. those just look flat out odd. :?
