Right now my 97' 500e is my project bike. Im getting ready to pull the carbs and rebuild them. among other problems the drive shaft is crap. who ever the old owners were beat the crap out of this poor bike :cry: But thats why i got her:) the driveshaft is stripped so the front sprocket wont attach properly so instead of taking it to a shop imma crack the engine with some help from am old biker friend and replace the shaft myself. The only deal is, i dont have alot of $$$ to spend (who does) and instead of tryin to get one from a parts dealer i wanted to see if anyone had one on here first.
