Title: oil contamination after adjusting valves?
Post by: termlifed on March 29, 2012, 05:31:04 PM
Hey all, I just finished adjusting the valves on the gs. I ran it just to make sure it was working and I can already tell its running 110% better then when i bought it. The problem is over the past few days when I was working on it ( had to wait a while for my shims to get in) we had some of the highest pollen counts on record. Even though I did my best to keep the gs covered when I wasnt working on it, I pretty sure that the exposed oil in the engine is just full of tree sperm and other natural goodies. Will it be ok to run like this for some time until I change the oil or do I need to get new oil in asap. Thanks

Cheap insurance. Just change the oil and feel good about it.  :D
