Well, I think I've decided it's time to move on from the orange love of my life...
It just doesn't really do what I want as well as my 07. I'll probably end up with either a Katana 750 or another GS500F. Either way, I'll still be around.
I'm in the Stone Mountain area of Georgia, Gwinnett county. I'm asking 2300 for the bike OBO.
The good:
Completely stock except for rear turn signals (replaced with modern GS500"F" ones from Adidasguy) and the custom SS Chainguard, and upgraded #40 pilot jets. It looks, rides, and runs like brand new. Very few miles for its age (just under 13k). Previous owner took excellent care of it. No rust anywhere, no corrosion. Tires (Bridgestone Battlax) look almost new...rear probably has another 5-6k left on it. Front even more.
The bad:
Has small scuff on the headlight cowl from where the previous owner dropped it. Tank has a small, BB-sized paint chip where the paint decided to leave the building. It's in an inconspicuous place, though - on the corner about 3" from the triple.

As much as I would love to go riding with you, Adidas, there's no way in hell I'd ride that far. It's almost 3000 miles...I'd have to change the oil before I got there.
Hmm well my bike is probably only worth half that.... I could sell mine and whore myself out for the other half... But then I would still have to drive to Georgia.... Screw that :flipoff:

Well so far, the only people that have responded to my CL ad have been morons, tire kickers, etc. Had one guy that said something about going to the bank and signing a title over and they'd send a check in a week...yeah okay. I'm not stupid.
I wish I had the money, or I'd Buy it, just to have a highly modified GS, and A bone stock beautiful one.

Well, it looks like it might be sold. We shall see...I've got my eyes on an awesome 02 SV650S...hopefully.
