Title: not running so hot
Post by: holloway2005 on April 04, 2012, 05:24:36 AM
hey got a quick ? for everyone. I have a 97 gs500e and i can get the bike to fire but if I let it idle for a bit it will randomly have a 4000 rpm spike without me touching the throttle and also when I clutch to slow down sometimes I will have the same problem. and last clue in the story is the other day when riding it I came to a stop and when I started to go it stalled but i had plenty of rpm it just acted like i wasnt even turning the throttle. after about 10 attempts I pushed it home. any ideas? carbs choke ??? thanks
