Your living room looks like mine, except I only have three bicycles in mine and three in the spare bedroom.  Ain't it funny how they tend to multiply?

Man, I wish I had space to work like that.  I can't even get a shoebox worth of room in my garage.  Mom stores too much stuff.  "Gee, one of these days I'll have a garage sale and sell that 15 year old exercise bike.  Someone should buy it!" or, "We need those boxes just in case we need to pack up a computer." or, "Nobody has taken this bookcase for their apartment, but we should keep it just in case."
Grad school stipend sucks.

How'd you get those invisible rims? That's amazing! I want a pair!
Quote from: rideLIKEjehu
Sure, tape them so we can see that they're actually there...

that looks really good. the black wheels go well with the dark blue. Any special paint used there or your standard Krylon spray?

Now that your "winter project" is done what will you do with your time...<*cough*, polished rim edges, *cough*>

Were you planning on polishing the rims?  A cool alternative is reflective rim tape.  It's available in colors (yes, blue) and tricks out a set of dark wheels.  They show a before and after version of a Seca II and the difference is remarkable.  But polished rims is cool too; it's just more work.

thanks, it's just 2 coats of dupli-color's Graphite Grey and 2 clearcoats.

i think i'm done monkeying with the wheels for a bit. i really don't have enough miles on it to know what performance mods i want to do. maybe in the spring i'll drop some progressive springs in and think about ordering some of srinath's bars  :dunno:

Fixed gears are my favorite rides. The red one is a vintage italian track bike-hasn't gotten much use these days though.

The Bianchi is an old road bike I converted to fixed gear (note I dont ride single speeds-these are true direct drive fixed gear bikes, no coasting). I run a 68 gear inch and ft/rr brakes on the Bianchi for road use. I welded the rear dropouts for track on it but otherwise retains all the road stuff...

There's a local group ride I do with about 10 miles of hills of various steepness' and I love the look on the riders faces when we start heading DOWNHILL and I'm spinning my legs at around 140 rpm+....only then do they realize I'm on FG...hehehe.

Now that is a disjointed thread which is in the Monty Python league.
Well done guys!
