Title: Jetting issue w/ video
Post by: gsatterw on April 07, 2012, 06:23:02 PM
So I got the bike running, its doing strange things, can't get rpm's past 6, dies with full throttle. 22.5 60 137.5 v&h full, k&n lunchbox, 2.5 turns. Idles fine. Pops sometimes. Here's a vid: http://m.youtube.com/index?client=mv-google&desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US&rdm=m2075qjw#/watch?v=_qe1KNLXaWA.

Thoughts? Too lean?

Thanks, graham.

Video link does not seem to work for me.  Can you edit?

Matrix on the wiki says you should be using 22.5/65/147.5, 3 washers, 2.5 turns out. So if that's true, you're running quite lean. I'm running stock exhaust with K&N Lunchbox and I jetted to 20/65/142.5 and it's running pretty good. Haven't pulled the plugs to check the mixture yet though.

Just saw the video.  Agree with Worm.  Very lean.

My setup now is a K&N Drop-in with stock exhaust and I'm 20/60/135.  Changing as soon as I get my lunchbox and some more jets from E-Bay.
