Anyone tried changing out their heel guards for the slightly cooler gsxr ones? They're for sale very cheaply on ebay, and it looks to me like they're screw holes are the same width apart as the standard gs ones.
Check some out here

I looked into this before myself and I want to say no, but only because ours (atleast my 09) is a 3 hole mount. These gixxer ones are 2 hole. Now the 2 holes do *appear* to line up to the bottom 2 holes on the bike, but then you have that 3rd hole ... hard to say ... try it out and let us know ;)

Interesting... my 1996 gs has heel guards with two holes, just like the gsxr one pictured.
I'm going to email the seller and ask him to measure the width. I'll keep you guys posted.
So now I'm thinking they won't fit, or at least one side won't. Looking at pictures on ebay, it seems that the right and left heel guards have different fitting dimensions, with the width between the two screws shorter on one side than on the other.
This is my right side and my left side does only have 2 screws. But if I recall, the Gixxers are 2 on both sides.
