Ugh, worst ride home in a while.
First I'm coming out my parking area at school nice and slow. Oops, too slow, I'm a little close to the curb. I roll on the throttle just a little. Except nothing happens because the clutch is in. I go to feather the clutch, except I drop it like it's hot. Daisy lurches (thankfully didn't stall, otherwise I'd have fallen for sure) and I do some crazy weave and straighten myself out.
Then there is an accident down the street
Then there is an accident on the highway, in the right lane, in the area where the left lane also ends. So I'm riding that left line like it's my job, to make sure everyone merging from the left sees me, this woman sees ahead I guess and decides to switch lanes into my lane from the right. No problem, she's halfway in, except the nose of her car is level with my hip. I pull ahead a little as traffic allows, she pulls ahead too! This happened two more times, she's inching closer and closer! I start screaming at her in my helmet "WHAT THE FSCK ARE YOU DOING?" Of course that had no effect, luckily it cleared up ahead and I just laid on the throttle and high tailed it out of there.
THENNNNNNNNNN I'm coming off the highway, two lights separate my apartment entrance from the off ramp. I'm cruising along, then everyone's brake lights come on and I slow down, figure the light is red ahead. No problem. Then there is a jackass who just can't wait and he swings around me, just as the car in front of me pulls off into the right turn lane. No problem, except Mr. Impatient needs to go right too. So he swings in front of me. Except now everyone in the right turn lane is stopped and there is nowhere for him to go. I screamed at him too as I drove by in the same lane laying on the throttle so hard I think I took Daisy into as yet unexplored 10k rpm territory. Hopefully she made a little bit of noise to wake some people up.
Boo. :2guns:
Damn ruff day!

Damn...those drivers on four wheels... :cookoo: ! Glad you made it home. Now stay in for the night!! LOL!
Seriously. I'm staying in with a drink or two.
Yeah you really have to watch out for those cagers. Don't sweat the wobble we've all done something silly like that. You just need to shrug it off and go out on a less busy day for a fun ride.
If you're like me, the commutes are not for fun. The bike makes an otherwise abysmal commute tolerable. however what I really enjoy is to get out on some open road and explore.. that's what you need, although wait until the alcohol wears off. Lol

I think I need to wait till the school year wears off... I think it's having a worse effect on my brain than alcohol does :cookoo:
A good weekend ride out of the city will cure what ails ya!
