HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
can always slide down a hill on it. :thumb:
Kerosene or Coleman fuel from Walmart etc etc, aka: white gas.
and some scrubbin.
I've had better results with the coleman fuel tho, which I used after I ran out of kerosene.
and if that filthy beast is only dirt and grease.
should clean up nicely!
Bare frame like that? Degreaser and a high pressure washer. :thumb:
Sandblaster and a new coat of paint or powder.
Pressure wash?? What and fill the frame with water :dunno_black:
Yeah pressure wash. Did that and still do that to my bike and frame. I pressure washed it before I took it to the powdercoaters
So it could rust from the inside out then?
Yes so it can do that, where's it going to get in?

look closely. there are argon (purge during welding) holes everywhere. not the same on all models either.
if you pressure wash, or dip, or cover in solvent of any kind, replace your stem (headset) bearings. they're old anyway, and will never be lubed properly without replacement after a chem dip.
might be a good idea to run through all the threaded holes with a tap too.
purging the frame of water, dunno, might have to bake it a couple of days to do that. big ovens aren't cheap. afterwards, you'll want a rust-inhibiting coating on the inside of the frame. :thumb:
Mine hasnt rusted out yet still going strong.
