Title: Oil Leak- Where to Start.
Post by: Jutto on April 28, 2012, 03:33:39 AM

As i was sayin in a previous thread, my Old Faithful has sprung a leak.
attached, hopefully is a photo of the engine.
I had rubbed it down and removed all oil. I can sit her in idle and give her revs and no oil.
This photo is after a 5 minute ride down the rode (up to 100kms/hr)
I have checked the levels, and they still appear full.
Any suggestions on where to start?
Thanks

Jutto

Is the rubbor O-ring on the dipstick still there?  If so, start looking at the side cover gasket.
