I have an 89 GS500 engine, it lost a rod bearing, damaged the case a little and the cylinder, So I bought a used 97 cylinder with pistons (If I remember right), and I bought a good used crank with Rods (the ignition rotor pin does need to be locktighted in but other than that the crank looks great). So with a new set of bearings and some elbow grease someone could have a runner.
I'm an old twostroke guy so I've opted to drop an RD400 engine into the GS chassis so only the motor is for sale and I need the $ to help pay for the 400 motor.
I also have a nice stock exhaust and a set of carbs.
