n00b here,

Anyone have any idea why my bike just started to bog all the time?

I was out riding it around, no problems...  All of the sudden it just started bogging there's just no power at any RPM.

Nothing has changed on the bike, it's a stock 93 gs500 12Kmi...

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

you know what. it seems to me that the gs is pretty bad on this topic. like dragonfly said. it might just be the fuel filter.

Have you checked your air filter lately?  Small engines like ours are more affected by clogged up air filters than cars.  It might explain why its running so rich.  I say check that out :thumb:

I had a similar problem, checked fuel lines all that stuff... ended up being a one bad spark plug.  It would ride fine, then bog down and wouldn't exceed like 90 km's an hour. One easy test is to remove the spark plug cable from one of the plug try and start the bike, then do it with the other plug.

Give it a try I ended up switching to a higher heat plug and had no problems.
