Title: Brake Pad Anti-Squeal Coating
Post by: BaltimoreGS on May 16, 2012, 03:03:43 PM
I mentioned this in another thread but I figured I'd start a new one in case someone didn't see it because I hate throwing away stuff someone else might use.  I have a bunch of anti-squeal grease leftover from brake jobs at work.  This is the stuff that you put on the back side of the pad, not the friction surface.  Let me know if you want some before it goes in the trash bin.

Toyota must use different suppliers for the brake pad shims, some come with black goo while others have copper colored goo.  I have an aerosol can of silicone paste that I use on shims.
