Title: very interesting
Post by: entropic on May 18, 2012, 06:39:38 PM
so i was browsing You Tube and came across a video about this motorcycle company Cleveland CycleWerks. I never heard of them but i was extremely impressed how cool their bikes look for $3200 new and thought i would share. Idk if i would get one as my primary ride but for some local riding they seem cool. What do you guys think ?

yeah it is interesting.. 250cc however plus the lifan motor apparently keep the price down.

Thanks for posting.

Not sure if it has happened yet but they were trying to move production to the US.

Assembly is done in the US now. I've been following the growth of the company since I first heard about them on The Kneeslider's blog a few years ago.

I think they need to take a 650 Suzuki single and drop in there.  Looks like a modern day Matchless or something.

I met a guy who's selling them around Brooklyn. They are really cool in person. The Misfit was my favorite. True, they are 250's, but for getting around town they seem perfect. Nothing wrong with a small bike, I think the US needs more small-bike options IMO.

Those Lifan motors can take a beating. I had one and never had a problem with it. Just a little noisy....like the GS.
