Title: I'm drowning in rain
Post by: ghostrider_23 on May 24, 2012, 09:48:31 AM
For the love of God, can anyone else have some rain!!!

For the past month in South Florida, it's been raining and raining and raining and raining.....................................................................

I have lived in Florida since 1987, but I can't recall it raining so much. I went out for that brief moment of sunshine only to find the battery on the bike was dead because it's been so long since I've rode it.

How's the weather in your neck of the woods, sure has been a strange year for weather!

P.S. the drivers down here in South Florida are some of the worst drivers in the WORLD. Most are use to riding around on goats, so when they get a car lookout. Now add rain and you are really in for an experience!!!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I saw a segment on the news last night where there were fish swimming in a parking lot in Miami. Sounds like rain gear would be a good investment for you!

How's the weather here? Great! Thanks for asking. :flipoff:

The weather here is... inconsistent. We have rain some days, sunshine others. Other times the temp falls and other time it is real real warm. The locals tell me it's called "Seasons", but I don't know I think they're having a lend...  :icon_mrgreen:

April to october - guaranteed sunny, no rain, ever, unless you have el nino or la nina or whatever ... then it can rain till june or so ... then again no rain till oct. Charlotte NC - the head quarters of nascrap ... its good weather but can rain, or whatever at any time of the year.
Cool.

Up here in North Florida it's amazing, except for it being so damn hot and humid. We had a bit of bad weather a while back but it's been nice for a while.

The past two weeks in O-town have been marvelous! Hot and humid but it is that time of year. Hopefully the TS that is off the East coast will suck some of the humidity out and swing past ya  :thumb:

First we had Man Made Global Warming - but it couldn't be proven to be due to man so...
then we had Global Warming - but that couldn't be proven either so...
Now we have Climate Change - and we all agree the climate changes so pay more tax dupes

The only consistent thing about the climate on this ball of mud is that it is inconsistent.

Last year was the hottest year on record!

Also, this is our second tropical storm and hurricane season hasn't even started! Most likely Burrel will be a hurricane before landfall tonight!

Something is going on.

Nasty couple of days ahead.
