I'm going to do the F to E conversion and have a set of older turn signals from an E. Has anyone put these on their GS500F before, and how do they look? I'm considering just getting a set of F signals if this doesn't work out. I only have a set of rear F signals at the moment which is why I was just going to use these old signals.
Also, I have a set of universal headlight brackets and am wondering how I attach the signals to it, because there doesn't seem to be any place for them to attach.
Thanks!

I prefer the newer style ones, personally. The shorter stalks and rounded lenses look better. But, for your viewing pleasure...

They don't look too bad, and thanks for the pic! Gives me a better idea now of what they look like. I think I'm going to order those Buell Blast-looking ones. They make better since and fit better since I did a fenderectomy and would need some steel brackets made to fit the old ones.

Note that the rear turn signals on the "E" model were a lot longer than the turn signals on the "F" model. I replaced the rear "E" signals on my "E" with "F" signals because I got tired of looking at how goofy it was. I also got tired of bumping the ridiculously long signals every time I walked by the bike.
