Wondering if anybody would happen to know if these would fit good on my bike. It says it fats on 7/8" (22mm) Diameter Handle Bars. Also, the ends.. The threads should match right? It doesn't say how long they are either. Are all or most bikes the same?
These'll go really good with the new handlebars. :D

Cool! Probably a stupid question but they're pretty easy to put on yeah? I think I'm gonna buy them, now that I know I still have money in my Paypal account!
Yes they are easy to put on. There is a thread here somewhere about it.
Just have her come to your place and help her. After all, she will have to pick up her chain guard.
I recently changed my grips, I was able to roll off the old ones and put on the new ones without any tools or major diffciculty

Lol its even easy for me :thumb:
Sweet. Just ordered them.
Use a little bit of WD 40 to get the old ones off (if you want to reuse, else just cut them off). Then clean the plastic throttle tube/bar with fantastik, and use hairspray in the new grips to slide them on. When the hairspray dries it gets stickier, but it's not permanent when you want to change your grips again.
If you have clip ons, the larger diameter will make your hands tired faster because you're using your hands to hold yourself up.
Thanks for the tips. Sounds really easy.
I won't be cutting the old grips thought. i always keep my OEM parts in case I want to go back.
Just realized... I'm getting the new handlebars soon. I'll just leave the old ones on the stock handlebars, and put the new grips on the type 2's.
it looks like the end is metal ? how can that possibly be comfortable ?
Buzz... Buzz... Buzz...
I picked up some cool bar ends for my dragbars. Switched back to the stock ends after one day. There was not enough weight to stop the buzzing. I'm guessing you'll have to compenste for that in some way or have some numb hands.

I've heard nothing but bad things about this style. They look nice, but are terribly uncomfortable. I'll stick with my ProGrip 719s. :thumb:
Well see how they feel. I wear gloves all the time, so i dont think the aluminum part will bother me.

It certainly will.

Each to their own. It wont bother you! I had the same ones on my bike till they wore out and have just bought some more when the current ones wear out.
No objections. I will forever hold my piece. Or is that peace?
Progrips for the Win. I got some light metal bar ends once bad vibes! And I wear gloves too!
