Title: Mystery fairing screws
Post by: 1310 on June 15, 2012, 03:42:46 PM
First of all I would like to thank you all for this board. I just got my first bike, a gs500, and this board has been invaluable already for the wiki, how-tos, and guides.

The short back story to my question is that this bike was stolen, recovered, and issued a new vin and salvage title. I bought it off the tow yard at a very good price.  It is a 2004 gs500f, and although it runs fine, there are some things I am fixing (mostly because it was laid down at one point).

I have been buying replacement parts, and for some reason, two fairing screws are missing. I looked over the OEM diagram, but they seem to simply be missing from the diagram. I know they exist, I just need help identifying the part number so I can purchase them. Below is an image of the bike showing the screws and the diagram showing the holes but not the screws. Please excuse the crude circles as I am posting from my phone.

Can anyone tell me these part numbers (they look like the same head, but not sure if length is the same)?
