I have used this on a variety of other bikes/tech/other stuff, but as a new owner of a GS, I want to share it with everyone here:
Restore sun-bleached, faded plastic in four easy steps:
1. Slather it up with Vaseline
2. Rub it in well
3. Let it sit overnight
4. Buff it out the next day
Comes out better than new - deep black, a touch glossy, flawless. It has worked wonders on my turn signals, chain guard, black pieces on the top of the fairing, all over.
Check out the results on a turn signal. Before the treatment, these looked identical:
