I believe that once my new exhaust arrives in the mail (and when i remove the limiter from my K&N intake) i will have to rej-et my carb, so i guess my real question is; What jets will i need? i have a 2006 GS500F with K&N drop in air filter (pod) and a Yosh pipe.
If it helps, i live in the NW (oregon, near portland)
on a side note, i've read a bunch of different things and none seemed to quite make sense to me, usually they seem to dis-agree on which ones i need)
Look at the wiki. There is a jet matrix and links to tons of jet info.
Find your setup and copy the setting. Otherwise you will. E taking shots in the dark. You may have to fine tune due to altitude, etc. but it gets you very close.
the matrix on the wiki doesnt help me at all, there's nothing for my pipe / intake combo, it's just blank
*edit* i take that back, there is a general matrix that might help, i'm looking into it now
Okay, does anybody know if this sounds right?

That sounds about right if you have a drop-in. Most of us have the lunchbox filter to increase airflow.
I have a K&N lunchbox and stock exhaust, and run 20/65/142.5 1 washer 3 turns. Send The Buddha a PM and ask his opinion. He's been selling and configuring jets for years and would know better than me.
Un-fortunately, i didn't know about the K&N lunch-box setups when i bought my setup, so i got a drop-in, it still increases air-flow significantly though, I could tell my bike was running a bit lean even with the airflow restrictor, oh-well, a new project for another day perhaps.
and thank you, i've PMed buddha, i'm planning on buying one of his custom kits, it sounds like they are better (and easier :woohoo:)
