Title: Choke cable lose help plz

My 96 gs500e has a lose choke cable I need to tighten it wat is the propper procedure also will i need to replace the whole clutch assembly or just the cable. The carb spring for the choke cable Is also little dull doesn't snap back as quick . Wat are my options and is it even fixable issues

1st, the choke and clutch are independent of each other both at the handlebars and at the motor.  Your choke cable is probably just worn out and doesn't slide inside the sheathing like it used to.  I would just replace the choke cable altogether, just pull the old one, and install the new one......Are you also having issues with your clutch?

As for your question, pretty much everything on these bikes is fixable, or replaceable
