So on the top of my engine there is this big gasket running around the valve cover. It looks a bit melted and all that fun stuff, and seems to have oil bleeding out of it slowly. I cleaned all the oil and dirt off a few months ago, and realized it's all back. I'm guessing that I'm gonna have to replace it. Can someone give me some input on this/tell me a good place to get one/item number? Also for the exhaust gaskets...http://www.ebay.com/itm/GS400-GS425-GS450-GS500-DR650-GR650-EXHAUST-GASKETS-/200782199724?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ebf8d3bac&vxp=mtr...Do I need these. I'm guessing yes. I've removed my exhaust like 20 times by now, and I've never seen these. How often do you guys replace gaskets and such???
Thanks a lot guys, Graham
P.S. very sorry if this has been covered before, i'm sure it has, i just suck at searching the forum, cause I don't know what to call these things.

Many places carry the valve cover gasket. About $30. You should replace the bolt o-rings while you're at it.
Just google the part number: GASKET,CYL HEAD 11173-01D00 $28.26
o-rings are: O RING HEAD COVER 09280-15006 qty: 4 $2.14
Based on Suzuki part number coding, the o-rings are a generic part, not specific to any bike. Good quality nitrile o-rings from Harbor Freight or a hardware store (of the correct size) would be OK.
Often they look melted - its just they way they are.
Replace exhaust gaskets about every time you remove the exhaust.
This video will show you the exhaust gaskets. You probably do not see them because they're squished and black.
