Title: Proficient Motorcycling book
Post by: bud_44 on July 06, 2012, 07:49:12 AM
I just finished reading the book Proficient Motorcycling.  I checked it out again so I can reread it.  It's a very good book.  I highly suggest everyone read it.  Ride safe my friends.

Bought a used copy myself a couple months back. Lots of great information. I find it's best to concentrate on only a single section at a time, otherwise you'll overwhelm yourself out on a ride.

Not unless it's a picture book, with models in bikinis (or less) on every page. Otherwise, no one would ever use it for anything other than to level a table leg.

"More Proficient Motorcycling" is also worth a read.

As well, I recommend "Sport Riding Techniques" by Nick Ienatsch & "Total Control" by Lee Parks.   Both of these are aimed at the spirited street rider, but are very worthwhile reads even if you never ride very hard.
