h have a vizio 26" lcd 1080i was a gimme partially. i replaced hte power inverter which was bad. only thing left to replace is the main board. i use www.shopjimmy.com for the parts. i need to locate a mainboard, if anyone knows of anythign on the cheap side that would work, this is the model
Vizio VA26LHDTV10T .
Any help would be most appreciated. am trying to consolidate my house. have 5 or 6 crt's those i cant give away. i know of one person i could sell them to. but wont do so until i get this vizio working.
Pull all the tubes and run them down to the 7-11 and test them, probably just a burned out filament or a low emission cathode on one of your power amplifiers----or maybe a booster coil on your picture tube would help. I hope this has been helpful Yama.

Are we joking with Yama?
Test tubes at a 7-11? Is this 1952?
That Visio is LCD - no tubes.
There are parts ones on ebay for $50 down to 99 cents, and refurbished ones for $180
If you just need an LCD monitor, we might have some in the basement of my office that are not 1920x1200 so we don't use them anymore because resolution is too low for our work.
Some folks just got no sense of humor---how much more obvious does sarcasm have to get?

Maybe if you told him to check the aperture flywheel gromice with the vacuum gasket ?
Then I still am not sure about the guy who asked if you have to gap the Brisk plugs - not sure if that was sarcasm or what since the plugs have nothing to gap.

Well I have a sense of humour and I didnt find it funny either?
If someone does not know how these things work the they would think you were serious!!
i found hte mainboard @ shopjimmy for 54 dollars. once i get this tv working. am getting rid of my lcd monitor as well. and running everythign from /through the tv set.
Who said anything about funny, sarcasm doesn't require funny.
At least adidisguy is a good sport and ran with it---you're just a grumpy old Aussie.
forgot to check the power cord fluid and see if that is filled to spec. like checking the water level on my 73 superbeetle. lol
Now there is a memory, bought a VW Beetle brand new in 68 for $1,400, drove it for years and handed it down to family members----it has been rebuilt and modernized ( oil filter, ignition, and fuel system modifications ) but it's still in the family and still going strong.

Of course Ausies are grumpy. First, they stand on their head - they're upside down.
Their seasons are backwards. Their toilets swirl the wrong way which I think makes the poop fly out rather than go down the drain. They have Paul Hogan.
Wow, no wonder, I'd be grumpy and then some.
Im not a grumpy Aussie? So Fuk you :flipoff:
im grumpy as all hell. wonder if i have some aussie ancestry. i have english, does that count?
Coda with his quick draw flippy fingers would have a life span of about 3 hours while driving in Miami, before I left, road rage was in the top five contributors to homicides in that city, I handled several pretty gory ones myself while working the airport district.
