Hey, I need help routing a few hoses... Where does the T from the upper back part of the carbs go?
Thats a vent. The hose goes up over the airbox and should be held on by a hook on one of the air filter screws.

Great! One more question... there are 4 hoses coming from the gas tank... The two on the left which are fuel lines, and theres one just next to these, when I bought the bike there was a hose coming from here but it was cracked and the connector on the end was broken, leading me to believe it was once connected somewhere... I dont know where this goes.
There should be 2 hoses coming from the tank petcock, obviously those are the fuel lines. The third line, closer to the center of the tank, is a breather. It should have a line routed under the airbox, but not connected to anything.

There is a straight down connection in front of/near the fuel petcock. This is a drain around the gas cap. Just goes down towards the ground.
If you have a 4th, then you must be in California (your location is not in your profile). The 4th connection is from a tube that has a 90* bend to it and is on the right underside of the tank. This is the crappy California Emissions thing that goes to the "Canister". Anytime a bike is taken out of California it is always disconnected and the canister crap removed. All hoses to the "canister" thingy are capped off.
That "canister" is one of those environmentalist greenie things. No doubt more energy and fuel is used to make that and add it to the bike and reduce MPG that are fumes recovered in that thing. Like ethanol and the greenies: it takes more than a gallon of petroleum to make a gallon of ethanol. But it makes them "feel good" in doing it. So.... you use over a gallon of fuel to make a gallon of fuel - besides being a loss you are now burning twice as much fuel. (Sorry to hijack the thread - it is Monday and time to vent the weekend frustrations from seeing squidly cagers drive on their cell phones, run stop lights, drive in the wrong lane and not yeild the right of way when a motorcycle is to the right at an intersection.)
ROSS: That hose is the drain around the gas cap. It is not a breather. The only "breather" in the tank is a tiny tiny hole in the edge of the gas cap. As mentioned, the drain goes to the ground and is usually routed between the carbs and just in front of the airbox.

It has On, RES and PRI for ON, RESERVE and PRIME.
Your owners manual is the best source for all your basic operation, maintenance schedule and needs. Everyone should have one. (Everyone should also have a volt meter in their toolbox.)
That info is also in the front of the Haynes or Clymer manuals.
ON to run. RESERVE to use the reserve PRIME to fill carbs after they were empty (from working on carbs or after you ran out of gas).
